Absolutely great! The owners were fabulous as soon as you enter your greeted with a friendly welcome. The establishment was clean, modern with a beautiful terrace. The breakfast was delicious not the typical coffee and muffin like some places. Definitely recommend this hotel. Plus outside plancha just in case you wanted to cook.

I like that its a real castle, its history and that it was converted into a rural house to stay. Also the check in person was great.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Hostal Leon was brilliant. Everything was new and the bed was very comfortable 😌 Situated in a small village, there was atmosphere everywhere when the locals came out for drinks and meals.
Great value. Absolutely recommend Hostal Leon for any future travellers, it's worth the trip.

Everything, Juan is a great host and his staff made you feel welcome and at home. Very clean and tidy room which worked perfectly for us. Alecia cooked us a traditional paella for dinner which was delicious. We Recommend this hotel.
Modern, clean and quiet with parking on street outside the door. The host is very friendly and responsive to messages and calls, and explained all the facilities in the house. There is coffee, bread and marmaldes for breakfast included. It is in a small village, about 15 minutes to Caceres or the motorway.
Our stay at Casa Godoy was exceptional. The host was so inviting and genuinely happy for us to stay at his house. The special touches did not go unnoticed. Miguel gave us great information on where to eat and visit. Inside his house is a joy to behold with a very modern look while yet in keeping with it's quaint characteristics. We will look forward to staying with Miguel in the future.
This is such a nice place to stay: better than being in the city but still not far from Cacares. The people running the hostal were very friendly and welcoming, and helpful - which makes a difference when one is travelling alone. My room was large and comfortable with a big bathroom, good water pressure and generally excellent and much better than most single rooms. Torreorgaz is a small village, peaceful - with some lovely walks in the countryside. I'm so glad I stayed there.
