Clean room with all the necessities. We were given a room key and key to the front door by the friendly receptionist. The hostel is located at the town square with restaurants and bars. We spent a very nice evening there.

We stopped by for 2 nights during a road trip with our van. Very good room, with private parking and a fridge. The shower was particularly large and comfy. The noise from the street wasn't a problem at all.

The breakfast was fabulous. We were served toastada, orange juice, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, cake and coffee. The pension is in an old building and noise travels (we were lucky and the other guests were quiet). The room is a bit quirky due to the age of the building but our stay was comfortable.

Easy to access via metro, plenty of restaurants nearby. Maria was very nice to show me the kitchen facilities and make sure I was comfortable during my stay.

The man who takes care of everything was very nice, sociable and went out of his way to make us comfortable. He went out to buy soy milk for my son who does not drink cows milk so he had it for the morning breakfast. Breakfast is available. He is also the cook who offers a selection of Spanish food including Caldo de Galicia which I enjoyed.

Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
