The Hotel is in the middle of the town which is within walking distance of Castellfollit de la Roca. Free parking is at the back of the hotel and there is plenty of space. There's not a lot at Castellfollit de la Roca - an afternoon visit would suffice. We did eat at the hotel and the food was very good - a bit basic (sausage and chips), but very tasty and cooked on the open BBQ in the restaurant / bar area. I can't remember what we had for starters, but I remember it being good (as was the pudding). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a roadside hotel, great for a stopover night. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant serves a good evening meal on a fixed menu basis and the breakfast was good too.

Great location in the center of Santa Pau. Beautiful decoration in the room, bathroom and common areas. All decoration is tailor themed as one of the ancestors was a tailor (=sastre in Catalan). Breakfast was excellent and abundant, with high quality products and served at the table with excellent service. Impecable service from all personnel and the host at the hotel who not only were nice but went above and beyond providing tips on the places to visit in the surrounding area. Thank you for being great hosts and made this stay so special!

From our double room we had excellent view to main square (Santa Pau is extremely small). Shower was good, bed was really comfortable, rooms renovated. Peaceful night guaranteed. Check-in: call the number on the door, and host arrived in 10 minutes.
We had good dinner with kids at Food truck in Santa Pau, suggested. (Other pizzeria was fully booked in Friday night).
The pension is on the main square. It overlooks the church, which is quaint. The bar downstairs is run by very helpful people, who are not part of Can Menció.
Hosts & staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Facilities incl pool, billiards & other games for young & older. Food was excellent & breakfast was well suited to a day of walking around the craters. Locality is nice & quiet & just as convenient to get to crater walks as the larger town Olot. Just brilliant!!
