The owner/manager was very helpful. It really helped that he spoke fluent English. A surprise Brazilian dinner for guests made the evening special.

Hosts (Laura & her husband) were attentive and super helpful. The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed and their heated floors were so nice. The beds were comfortable. The food was excellent. Overall an excellent place to stay. So glad we found this quiet oasis, off the beaten track.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Comfortable, rustic, cozy, historic, relaxing and peaceful are just a few of the descriptions of our unforgettable stay.
Pepa, Laura and Javier are the perfect hosts, with a perfect level of attentiveness and attention to detail. The room cleaning and overall cleanliness were impeccable.
The authenticity and rustic nature of the hotel was amazing. Laura was the most attentive and generous host. Picking us up at the end of a days Camino walking at Rabanal and dropping us back to the same spot the next day to continue our Camino.
I stayed here, because I was unable to reserve a place to stay on at Rabanal /Foncebadon. I would highly recommend this place - during the day it is a restaurant, and the hosts prepared a lovely dinner for myself and one other pilgrim who was staying, at a very reasonable price. The rooms are in a fine, refurbished stone building, with modern bathrooms.
Lovely hosts, location is slightly off the camino but they kindly picked me up and dropped me back! Beautiful place to stay with lovely hosts! Wish I could stay here every night.
