The property is well located and suited our journey to Barcelona perfectly. The hosts were amazing and very welcoming. The bedroom was spotless and had good air conditioning. We had dinner there which was excellent and as everyone else says, the fig salad was delicious. There is a nice garden area out back where kids can run around too. Highly recommend.

No air conditioning in the height of summer. The host was a very nice lady. The staff in the breakfast area were shocking, gave priorty over locals who came for breakfast instead of seeing to guests. Staff left us stood there when we were unsure of what and where to go. They totally blanked my wife when she went to the counter to ask about breakfast and where to sit, they could'nt or would'nt even translate the menu. They never even aproached our table when we finally sat down. As a family of four, i though this was disgusting especially with having a four year old with us. I guess the moral of this story is, if you speak spanish you will be treated right, if not then you wont be treated at all. Even if i spoke spanish, i would never visit again.

Santa Pau is a little beautiful village with a old centre in the middle of the vulcanic park of the Garrotxa. There are some spectucular walks in the neighbourhood and also in village Olot close by there are plenty of things to do. We went there in autumn and the forest is full of mushrooms.

Incredible!!! We had an amazing stay at Debbie’s place!! She’s an incredible host and really went out of her way to make our stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend having dinner there, and the breakfast is sensational too
Debbie, Anna and everyone was delightful. Debbie has created the most wonderful wonderland where you can only feel relaxed. The food was as beautiful as the host. I wish we could have stayed longer so many little spaces to explore so much to dive in to. A true space of beauty thank you Debbie and Anna for a memorable stay that we will never forget.

Surprisingsly the house was so kitsch and cozy we just loved it! Debbie was a great host always caring about us. She offered us a wonderful breakfast with many options. We had a great time and we rae looking forward to come back!
