Also, the location allows one to easily walk to the market, to the port and main beach, as well as to La Fosca beach and further. For our extended stay in Palamos, Hostal Catalina provided very good value for money.

Front line hostel with sea views in some rooms and for meals. Breakfast can be buffet, but I ordered menu. Excellent tortilla con queso. The staff was excellent and offered me many options for routes I could ride my bicycle.
I would definitely recommend Marakasa. The House vibe is great, cheerful and peaceful. Rooms are perfect and the host is very warm and kind. I loved the location, very close to the best spots in Costa Brava. Also, the breakfast was delicious!
Lovely family-run hotel in great location. We really liked staying here, with a sea-view room and parking next to the hotel. The hotel has a ‘seventies’ atmosphere that you won’t find in fancy boutique hotels or great chains. Visitors mostly Spanish and French with the odd Dutch couple.
