Not so much fault of hotel, but difficult to find using google maps due to fact that road signs are a mysterious art in Spain. Frustrating. Once there, however, facilities were very nice. Staff is not always present but very helpful when they are.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
A great host who met us, explained where everything was, as well as letting us use the washing machine which was a bonus a week into our driving holiday. There was plenty of room for the two of us, a comfortable sofa that could turn into a bed, great to use the coffee machine with capsules provided. having been to Ponferrada before the location was a 2 minute walk to the old square so close to cafes etc. We were lucky that they were playing traditional music in the square which we watched with a hundred or so other people.
Great hostel in a central location. The staff are friendly and the room is clean. I'd recommend it highly to other travellers. It was my first night before the Camino, so I had a good night's rest before the long walk.
The apartment was easy to find. It’s located 1/2 block off the Camino and a 10 minute walk to the plazas and Castillo of Ponferrada. Great location. There is plenty of parking on the street if you have a car.
All amenities including a well equipped kitchen plus a washing machine. It was super clean. Our host was very welcoming.
Excellent Pension room. Located in the main town square with busy cafes, bars and restaurants outside the door. It was quiet in the evening. Host was very helpful and pleasant man to deal with. Bed was comfy, my room spotless as were the toilet and shower facilities. tv in sitting room and also my bedroom. Kitchen well fitted out and spotless. I shared with three strangers and we actually cooked a meal together that evening which was very pleasant experience on my Camino.
