It was quite pretty and light and airy feeling. Nice decor. Quiet side street near the castle. Amazing bar with views within a few mins walking distance though and we went there a couple of times. Great mojitos and seaside/town views.

The hotel is brilliantly located between both the main beaches of this busy seaside town. Our beautiful room overlooked the tranquil bay of the playa sur; a very easy stroll from the hotel to the, excellent value, beach sun beds and umbrellas - still available to rent at the beginning of October; which is such a safe place to swim. The hotel is within minutes walk of the castle and old Town - with great views to enjoy because of its excellent location.
Maria and her family have created a fantastic hotel, to add to their already thriving restaurant. We loved everything about our stay here: the calm style of the rooms; the spotless cleanliness; the attention to detail and the wonderfully warm - and efficient - welcome from Maria, who speaks excellent English, after her work and travels in London and Australia. We also enjoyed the views from our huge balcony, the historic aspects of Peniscola and all the bars, restaurants and shops (and very good parking) that surround Xulos. We would so happily return to visit here again to enjoy another wonderful stay at this beautifully designed seaside hotel.

Absolutely fabulous, everything you need for a few days of R&R, ocean-facing, right next to the beach (stairs), air conditioner, small fridge in room, great shower, all newly renovated, with a million dollar view for ocean facing rooms. Close to dozens of restaurants and located right at the entrance to the old city (small hill/incline/stairs to reach property), which is basically inside Castle’s area. Host Roxana is friendly, makes you feel welcome and comfortable as if in your own house. She goes out of her way to help in any way she can (for example, she has regular and beach umbrellas for you to borrow) and provides a delicious breakfast in the morning. Just be mindful it’s on one of those historical buildings without elevator so if you have a mobility impairment, this may not be for you. I would recommend 100% and will definitely go back.

The cave room is unique, below ground/built into the rock, so to some degree of damp is expected, but managed by dehumidifiers. On the upside it's very hard to quiet and peaceful.

The owners of this amazing guesthouse are very nice people and the home-made breakfast was so delicious. The room had cool furnishing and a nice view overlooking Playa del Norte. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Peniscola to stay at this place, in the charming old town.
We stayed 3 nights and the place was amazing. Location is great with direct view on the beach, the other beach is just 3 minutes walk away and the castle/old town is 5 minutes away. The studio feels brand new and has all amenities you could ask for (coffee machine, hairdryer, kitchen stuff, ice cold air con and so on). The shower is great and the bed is very comfortable. The place is also very quiet. Aleix is an amazing host, gave us tips where to go and which tourist traps to avoid. I cannot praise the whole experience enough.
I arrived very early, to which the hosts were very accommodating, giving me a towel and access to the pool while they very quickly prepared a room for me long before check-in. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. The rooftop pool and ocean views in a lovely, quiet location make this a perfect place to stay in Peniscola
Great location, right next to the beach and old town. The building is recently redecorated and everything is very clean. The host Vicky was very helpful and they provided us with a cot, baby bath and high chair at no extra cost.
Very comfortable rooms, small & personal run B&B with charming hosts. Breakfast's were very good. Setting is very nice, just slightly outside Peniscola & very quiet. We can highly recommend this charming B&B.
Perfect stay - we really appreciated in particular the view from the spacious terrace/balcony, and the pool area. Very communicative and helpful hosting/management from Marta. A great location in terms of proximity to town but with peace and quiet.
