Jose was an excellent host, the room was beautiful, very comfortable.The house was situated in a quiet village with only bird song and cows tinkly bells, no traffic noise.The setting is idyllic.Jose was very informative about the area, provided advice on places to visit, and gave us a map.He left chocolate bars on our bedside table, a thoughtful gesture.The breakfast he served us was plentiful with good varied ingredients.He was kind, generous and most accommodated.We would definitely like to visit again!

I was traveling alone with my two-year-old daughter. We had a single room with a private bathroom including breakfast. Everything was very basic, but just right. Instantly warm water and good WiFi! The staff was lovely with me and especially my daughter. We even got extra requests for breakfast. As a vegan in Spain, this was much needed :-) During the day there is a cafeteria for drinks and snacks. Dinner is also served in the evening from 8pm. However, they even heated up our own vegan food. A great place to stay and look around the Picos or get a feeling for the area. However, it is difficult without a car. The hostal is very remote and public bus transport is difficult, especially in summer. However, it is within walking distance of the funicular to Bulnes or the ruta del cares. I recommend the ascent to Bulnes on foot! With a carrier for the child ;-) Otherwise, good maps are recommended, unfortunately there was not much information on site.

the location was the attraction for us. near to the beach with a sea view. the receptionist was helpful, friendly and directed us to a fantastic restaurant for our evening meal. the village setting is charming, as is the street navigation! beautiful buffet breakfast and good coffee. highly recommend.
The room was comfortable and quiet. The shower was amazing! staff was lovely and the morning breakfast was absolutely amazing! not one fault for this gorgeous little hotel! and the view of the little beach and fields is spectacular! highly recommended!
