Everything!
The staff was so welcoming, warm and friendly. Patient with my rusty Spanish (even though they speak great English!) fantastic with our baby.
They had a high chair! The food was GREAT. The beds were the best we’ve had in the Camino. They have a store that is thoughtfully curated with everything a pilgrim could need at totally reasonable prices. It was so quiet. The shower was hot the room was warm. EXCELLENT value for money. One of (if not the ultimate) best stays in our month in Spain. Thank you!!

This wonderful albergue is super clean and located on a quiet street just steps from the main square in Astorga. The hospitalero is super wonderful and helpful. She cooks delicious meals for the communal dinners. I have stayed here twice on two separate Caminos.

For an older place the rooms & bathrooms were well maintained and clean.

Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
