This was our second visit to the Piedra de Luna. We stopped in Mérida on our trip across Spain (both directions). We returned because the hotel is very nice, clean, modern, and an excellent value. We were pleasantly surprised this time with a very large room, with a huge entryway/dressing area, and bathroom. The facilities are very modern and the decor is very pretty. There were two bottles of water and a bag of candy waiting for us by the bed. The hotel was a five minute walk from the parking garage. The historic Roman ruins are not far and the downtown area with eateries, bars, restaurants, etc., is within walking distance as well.
This guest house is located 1.4 kilometers from Mérida’s Milagros Aqueduct and train station. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV.

The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. We booked last minute and everything was ready for us and for the kids when we arrived. We had a very enjoyable diner and breakfast and a relaxing time.
Everything! It seems like the hosts knew everything we would need and had them waiting for us. They made everything available and also provided spare of everything! It was just like home away from home. Unlike most apartments, they provided a beautiful basket for us to put used towels in. Make up removers were totally unexpected but very welcome! The management of that apartment must be very thoughtful people. I hope they keep this up.
Close to the centre and within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Quiet village surroundings and 4 Kms from Alange which has working Roman bath and Spa. Alberto gave us water and wine glasses.
Very warm welcome by charming hostess. Quiet location ideal for our travelling stop over with large trailer and 2 dogs.
Rooms are very comfortable and clean with attractive decor. Plenty of hot water.
We had a simple supper of homemade tortilla which was delicious.
Breakfast ample, coffee very good and we were even able to have gluten free bread when requested.
I can thoroughly recommend this delightful hotel
Excellent value for money, quiet room with comfy bed and spacious quarters. Clean bathroom and accessible. Bonus points for the cold water bottle provided and the little olive oil sample.
This was a little gem of a find. Could have done with a few more signposts on the road in. Very Spanish in appearance which we loved, Isabel was a perfect host
We stayed just for one night but all was excellent. Very friendly hosts, all spotless. Lovely design.
