If you want to push past Leon and are looking for a great place before the Camino split, this is an excellent option with basic amenities. Restaurant located downstairs and other options nearby. Other nearby amenities include a grocery store and pharmacy. The staff was wonderful and the room was a no frills room but comfortable and relaxing. I would stay here again!

Just off a main walking street to the cathedral. Staff were very helpful, communicating to make sure to be available for check-in when my train was late. As a traveler on foot, I appreciated that!

Excellent, the location is great, right in the center but still quiet. The room and common rooms were all clean. It was actually very useful to have a sink and shower in the room. The heating was on at night so it was nice and warm.

Although my reservation was for Hostal Pozo, you had to go to Hostal Albany, on La Paloma St. to check- in. I was checked into Hostal Albany because a room was available. Great location, right by the León Cathedral.

Loved the balcony and the beds were super comfortable.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Right on the Camino, lively bar down stairs with good food in the restaurant, no need to look anywhere else, plus the staff were friendly. The room was clean and quiet, even though the bar was still open.
The hostel was functional, clean and excellent value for money. We enjoyed breakfast at the owners café right around the corner. It was nice to stay at a smaller town outside of León's busyness.
The hostal comes with a restaurant and bar. Although the restaurant is closed on Sunday, it’s still possible to have a simple meal at the bar. The staff at the bar is very helpful although we couldn’t communicate well.
Perfect cheap hostel for an overnight stay. The hostel is above a bar with a small terras. No complaints about noise or otherwise. I had a good night rest.
Quiet location off the busy N-120. Simple, clean room with bath - greatly appreciated after a long day on the Camino! Very friendly owner who is based in Café Maria nearby.
