One of the nicest albergues we have stayed at this Camino!! The staff so beautiful and friendly, the food amazing and the family room so cosy and comfortable.
The staff offered a wash dry and cold service which was superb and when we left some expensive headphones behind they organised to have them transported ahead of us for collection.
Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Perfect location, incredible attentive and friendly host who sent through clear instructions. The property is immaculate and beautifully decorated. A real haven and home from home. Loved our stay.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Nice Hostal with private rooms right on the Camino and a welcome stop after a long hike from Astorga -its right on the Camino and has breakfast options-it also has a menu del dia available
Among the hostels/hotels I have visited on my el camino, ei Trasgu is a gem. Nice peaceful hotel, friendly and effective staff, excellent pilgrim dinner at 18.00 hrs and early breakfast service.
