Nice and clean, I didn’t experience any problems with check in. I booked it because my other accomodation cancelled on my so it was good because it has remote check in.

We booked two rooms as a family of 4 and when we arrived we were told the rooms wouldn’t be together, they were actually not even in the same building but a long walk through the city to each building. This was not acceptable to us as a family with two teenagers. We didn’t stay and had to end up paying for another hotel in the city. I will be contacting Booking for a refund.

We had the dorm room to ourselves . The hostel was excellent we didn't realise how far away it was once we arrived in Zubiri from the camino . We had to organise a taxi to the hostel by asking a local bar to ring a number provided by the accommodation which was easy enough. Once we got to the accommodation there was nothing open or no people around . We found one small bar/restaurant and got some small food there.
Everything was fantastic - the warm welcome, the spotless room, the brand new bathroom, the superb and copious breakfast, the delicious supper. The « hostal » (a small hotel in fact) us a jewel in the really pretty Basque Pyrenees. We will definitely return.
Amazing place to stay, very hospitable hosts and the breakfast was very good. The room was very clean and comfortable.
