If you're looking for a peaceful, stylish, non-touristy place with informal atmosphere and you like dogs (the hosts' dogs - very friendly - like to accompany you in the common areas), this is your choice. The access road is quite ok actually, just follow the signs from Meson Rural restaurant and don't be afraid of the final steep hill, we made it with a small regular car with weak engine without problem.
And we have to mention the home-made fig jam that you can get for breakfast, it's amazing.

The location is great, you can hear the sea at night, and there are no street noises. I liked the balcony and the fridge! Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it's walking distance from anywhere in the town and perfect for an early morning stroll along the beach. I would come back!

Great gas hob, great location, good sized, clean and homely apartment that was also lovely and quiet. Place is well maintained with a good mix of mostly residential units in the block. Everywhere within walking distance.
Maria and her husband were incredible hosts, we had the best nights sleep on our road trip through the south of Spain. I only wished we had stayed here for the whole trip. Sunsets were incredible, we slept in on day of departure and there was no problem. I would recommend this place to anyone, 20yards away from the beach which was dog friendly!! We will be back 100% . The property itself was lovey and in a quiet setting. The Breakfast was wonderful as it was very varied and the infinity pool was fabulous. The 2 hosts - Patrick and Anna were very welcoming and great to have a chat to. They supplied a nice list of restaurants to go to in Carboneras area and around.
I liked the location very close to sea and city centre yet still nicely quiet area. Everything in the property seemed new and very clean. Communication via WhatsApp was most smooth and pleasant (in English).
