Zazpikaleak/Casco Viejo was a great area especially if arriving late in the evening like we did. Restaurants nearby were open fairly late and had good reviews. Cafes were near for the next morning too. Also Escaleras de Solokoetxe was on the same street as Arenal Suites. Plaza Nuevo was a short walk and we loved it immensely. Great price for the area, we were very happy! And the hotel, the room itself, and bathroom were all upgraded!

The hotel is in a nice area of old town. All entry is by code and the desk is a block away, but it was safe, quiet, and near the catedral, restaurants and shops. The room was clean and modern, and the staff was helpful answering my questions whether via WhatsApp or in person.

The location was very good, I can't see a better place to say at Bilbao. The room is good enough for 2 people. There wasn't any breakfast included, but many restaurants downstairs.

Very clean, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, helpful staff, lounge with microwave, kettle, fridge, etc. was great. Walking distance from everywhere- 20 minutes to Guggenheim. So many bars, shops and restaurants within 5 minutes. Great atmosphere in old town.

Great location, easy access to the whole city, down on the river-front. Clean, modern and well maintained amenities in the building. Host provided a new clean cot for our infant also. Comfortable bed, quiet neighbourhood, very keenly priced.
Excellent location on one of the quiet streets in the old town, a minute from the tram and 5 mins from the underground. Spacious apartment. Great host, checked we had arrived safely and we able to access the apartment. Tip, get a Barik card, much cheaper than paying individual fares for travelling about.
