A decent hotel on the edge of Pals with free parking. The value for money is good compared to other hotels in the area. Definitely make a reservation at the restaurant next to the hotel (Vicus), which was excellent. Friendly staff.

Very nice family hotel near (2-3 km) from the beach. Our room was simple,but comfortable, clean, with air condition. There is a little restaurant beside/in the hotel,they offer daily menu (for 10,13,15 Euros),local foods,and breakfast.Really fine meals.The hotel's staff is very nice and helpful. Also, the location allows one to easily walk to the market, to the port and main beach, as well as to La Fosca beach and further. For our extended stay in Palamos, Hostal Catalina provided very good value for money.

Only thing that I hadn’t expected was that there was no fridge in the room, but there’s plenty of local eateries and a supermarket in easy walking distance. Parking available at extra cost was well worth it. Great location and recommended.

It is perfect here, lovely, helpful, cheerful staff; nice quiet rooms, terrific food and a wonderful atmosphere of both privacy and cordiality with other guests. One of the best things is the two minute walk to the beach, which means you can keeping popping back when ever you wish. This hostal has a very relaxed, summery atmosphere of understated elegance. We were very happy here indeed.
We enjoyed the rustic, almost boutique, yet clean room. It was a good place to relax between hiking and checking out the quaint locations around Begur. The breakfast was very nice with a selection of sweet, fruits, and savory options and great fresh orange juice. The staff at reception were all really welcoming and were even able to make a very late night check-in possible.
Really fantastic small hostal in a (generally) quiet cove. Easy access to the sea and walks. Really good (high quality but not cheap) restaurant on site. Friendly non-intrusive staff. Highly recommended.

Great location! Quiet but close to town. Five minute walk to restaurants. Pretty town. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. Made us feel very welcome and gave lots of advice on places to go and directions. The breakfast was fresh and plenty of it. Fantastic place to stay! Wouu would definitely revisit and recommend!
