The Mango Guest House, hotel in Aswan

15 miles from Aga Khan Mausoleum in Aswan, The Mango Guest House provides accommodations with access to spa facilities, beauty services, and steam room.

The experience of staying on an island that happens to be a Nubian village is something that adds to one's experience when travelling to Egypt. The property owner, who is a sweet Danish lady let us stay for 30 ore minutes past our checkout time. The manager Ibrahim was very helpful and told us about the normal prices for things in that area (something that's not easy to discover in Egypt). Bonus: the property is protected by a dog named Bobby who is very entertaining.

Taha and Hussam were super helpful, they made our stay nice and remarkable, I gave them late notice for early check up and they made it happen in no time and were ready for it. The serenity of the place makes you forget all the noise in your head and clears your mind. The Nubian breakfast, lunch and the whole experience was superb

This is by far the place where I felt the biggest hospitality from the hosts in my stay in Egypt. We arrived late at night and they waited for us at the ferry. It's around 5 min walk from there. We had a nice view to the Nile river and the bed was good to have some rest after a long trip

The location was amazing our room had a balcony overlooking the Nile from Elephantine island and the rooftop had spectacular views. It wasn't just guesthouse. I felt like I was in my home. Guesthouse host is super kind and supportive. He would like to do everything that guest wants and needs. It isn't a thousand dollar fancy hotel, but if you are looking for a place where you want to feel comfortable like home, don't hesitate to stay here. (Certainly, location and facilities are fine.)

The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!

This is a lovely, quaint guest house on the quiet side of Elephantine. We loved how peaceful it was and away from the hustle and bustle of the town: Mohammed and Basser were very accommodating hosts throughout the stay. A highlight being we got to go on Mohammed’s boat for a sunset journey on the Nile. Highly recommend!

Great location next to the Nile and 5 minutes on foot from the ferry. Also very nice rooftop to chill by the river. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Ahmed is a great host, we were able to take our breakfast in a bag when we had to leave at 4am. He can also organize a trip to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price.

This is a great location, easy to access from the elephantine ferry boat port for a cheap ride and short walk. nice and peaceful. great host who is very helpful and organised felucca rides, boat rides and trip to Abu Simbel for us. there is a wee restaurant next door with yummy food - it takes a while to cook but is a nice relaxing atmosphere. breakfast is decent enough and served on the rooftop. the host is Nubian and the house is in a Nubian village. I highly recommend BAYT ZAINA.
