Had the best experience at Savoy. Loved everything at the beautiful boutique hotel… the staff are super nice and professional. Check-in was so smooth, took 2 minutes. Rooms are so cosy and clean and the food at the restaurant on the upper floor was soooo delicious. Everyone working at the hotel was so keen on making us comfortable and satisfied. It is about the experience. The real Egyptian village life, away from big cities. The host really wants you to experience everything and wants you to meet many local people.
Peter was great host, he made us a warm welcome and was very keen to show us around in his village and the field around, he also made us meet everybody there, and his family was charming ! The village and surroundings are a very beautiful piece of countryside, on the other side Peter also took care of everything for us to visit archeological sites as to help us find ways to continue our journey, thanks to him going to Al Minyah was a great expérience, thanks Peter !

The hotel is a charming boat right on the Nile. The room was small but comfortable. There is a decent restaurant on board, which had live music on the evening we were there. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The rooftop seating area has great views of the river.
The small hotel is well located in the centre of Al Minya. It is situated on a very quiet residential street.
The hotel is modern and functional.
Our room was quite spacious , comfortable and very quiet. We were supplied with complimentary water and the room had a fridge, kettle, safe deposit and a comfortable seating area.
The attached bathroom was very clean and the shower was probably the best we had in our whole trip in Egypt.
