Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain.
The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.
Located within 1.4 km of Las Galeras Beach and 2.8 km of Madama Beach, 21 Palms features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Las Galeras.

We really liked the quite and peaceful surroundings. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
I would remove one tiny little star for the accessibility without a car. We did make our way around using the route via the beach and reached the center and the bus stop within 30-40min.
We convinced the guagua driver to drop us of for an additional 300 DOP.
We would always come back.

We spent a great time in Villa la Caleta. Dario is a very kind host, he shared with us a lot of useful information, the place has everything you might need during your stay. The surrounding is calm and beautiful. If you are looking for a rest it will be a perfect choice.
With garden views, La Rancheta is located in Las Galeras and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and barbecue.

I had a great time. Grecia and Ronaldo are very kind people running the place with good vibes. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous to be completely surrounded by nature and las galeras is a pure tropical paradise to destress.
Situated in Las Terrenas and only 800 metres from Punta Popy Beach, Castillo Romano features accommodation with pool views, free WiFi and free private parking.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
I had an excellent stay at this hostel, everyone who works there is friendly, there's breakfast which for me is a plus, the place is cozy and clean, close to the Malecón to take the guaguas and it’s walking distance from the beach, the pier where the tours leave to the haitises and Cayo levantado and Caribe tour where you take the bus to Santo Domingo. They also have pets, three dogs and a kitty cat.
Nice Apartment in nice location. It is within the Hotel Xeliter Vista Mare complex. The facilities of the hotel can be used. Small but quiet and nice privat beach. Yriz is a very attentive and accommodating host.
Super nice guesthouse, it's perfectly located to move around the Samana Area and do day trips. Also the Caribe tours bus stop (to go to Santo Domingo or other places) is 10 minutes from the hostel. The rooms are private and pretty nice. Dodley is an excellent host, always helpful and smiling. Definitely the best place in Dominican Republic.
Everything was amazing! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Beautiful, clean hotel! Great location. Quiet street. Sometimes there were problems with hot water. But overall a wonderful and pleasant hotel!
Very friendly, helpful, uncomplicated hosts, who care touchingly, received the apartment instead of the booked single room due to renovation. For the cheap price you get clean, simple accommodation, with a good bed, decent toilet and a romantic terrace. Recommended for everyone who travels on a small budget and can do wit little comfort.
We were welcomed so friendly, it immediately felt like home. The rooms are nice and it was very quiet, so we slept great. The host Dodley cooked great food for us and showed us around Samaná. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to stay there again one day!
