Staying at this apartment was great. Loved the fact that there was an easy check in process. The apartment was clean with mordern decor while having that homely atmosphere. Seeing amazing sunsets everyday was definitely a highlight of my stay as the apartment location is on a hill. Would definitely recommend staying at Homely Escapes.

Very comfortable bed and room, nice and quiet with good air con. The host is lovely and kindly dropped us to the gorge when the buses weren't running. It's about a 15min walk to the town centre
Great hosts, super friendly, they made tasty homemade meals and juice from the garden. Location was great for main sights of the area. Good wifi. Area is calm :)
The dinner experience was the best! Its a fixed meal and the guesthouse host first comes out and explains whats going to be on the plate, how they cooked it, what ingredients were used, before they serve the food!
The guesthouse was not that far from the center, in a quiet neighborhood. I loved the decoration at the restaurant.
Breakfast included fresh fruits and juice plus jam and toast and cream cheese.
Carol went above and beyond to help us with booking a whalewatching tour and with other queries.
Great location, just on the edge of town, a few minutes walk away. Phill and Carol are excellent hosts. The restaurant is a big bonus: nice breakfast (fruit) and coffee in a morning, and some lovely meals in an evening. The guesthouse has a great vibe to it, which facilitates and great place to swap travel stories. Highly recommended.
