Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Clean, quiet, very spacious, helpful host, great value for money. Literally 100m from over 20km of gravel walking paths around local lake rich with wildlife (especially birds), including bird spotting tower with shelter, info board and fixed binoculars.
Vandkanten is a gem. Located on the harbour front with the most beautiful view and near all attractions, this is a wonderful place. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and the parking could not have been easier. The shared facilities were spotlessly clean and the only way to improve this place is to offer fresh milk in the fridge.
Pro tip for non-Danes: everything is closed Sunday morning but stroll to Groes Bakery in the high street for fresh breakfast and coffee from 6am onwards.

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
