Villa Strand is an exceptional place to stay. It is separate to the Hotel Hornbaekhus, where we had breakfast and evening meal. The hotel and rooms are decorated and furnished in a tasteful Nordic style. There is a lovely balcony with views over the dunes to the sea. There is direct access on to the lovely sandy beach, and it's just a few minutes from the lively village centre. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Strand if you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

The accommodation is located in a totally beautiful and quiet garden. We were allowed to use the greenhouse, a wonderful place to have breakfast. Loved it ❤️

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The room was a great size with a large and very comfortable bed. The room also had a comfy sofa and armchairs which was great. The location was central but really quiet with only the sound of the birds singing! The whole place was spotlessly clean and very calm and restful. Majken was charming and I would love to stay there again.
Lovely decorated annex with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cosy furniture in a sheltered corner outdoors. Beach, shopping, parking, food and icecream is waiting 250 meters. Very friendly and helpful host.
Host (Majken) is delightful and incredibly helpful. We ate at several of her recommended restaurants which were all excellent. We had breakfast for two of the days we were there and it was home baked rolls and home baked strudel with fruit and yoghurt - again excellent. The garden and patio were a bonus - if you are looking for a place to relax then this is perfect. Short walk to the huge white sandy beach which was deserted even through weather still fine (I heard that it get busy in July - but late August very quiet).
A quiet and peaceful location for a restful stay! The rooms and the shared areas are all very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was amazing...no hot meals, but a nice variety of fruits, cheese, and other options, plus delicious home-made rolls and croissants. Majken was a great host and very knowledgeable about the area, so she has great recommendations on places to visit.
The owner, Majken, is a great host and is super attentive to make sure you have all you need to be comfortable and relaxed. We loved our deluxe room. It was beautiful, comfortable (great bed & linnen!) and very clean. The garden is lovely with a lot of sun and good sitting places. The kitchen / breakfast area is comfortable and practical. Great breakfast. The location is outstanding. We loved it all and will be back as soon as we can.
I spent wonderful days at the Trouville Bed & Breakfast. The accommodation is spacious, clean, quiet and located near the beach. Mayken is the perfect host, always here to fulfill your wishes. The breakfast was rich and fresh and the every-morning-homemade buns were DELICIOUS. My God, what more can you demand?
