Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Staff, location. Nice strategic location close to the city centre and Sheraton hotel for drinks.
The staff members were friendly. The owner let me check out at 4 pm without extra charge. Merci. Shokran. Thank you!
The hotel is located in the city center and everything is within walking distance. The hotel has excellent management and will help to organize and advise on activities and common minor information. The atmosphere and communication is very friendly. I recommend the breakfast, which is a combination of continental and local cuisine.
A very nice hotel, located right by the sea in a quiet place, but unfortunately quite far from the city center. There is nothing interesting nearby, no restaurants or shops. Nice swimming pool and restaurant area next to the pool. Large rooms, bathtub in the bathroom, ac good. Staff very nice, smiling and friendly. Breakfasts quite modest (from 6 am). A big plus is the free airport transfer (taxi costs 10-15$) and the possibility of late check out!
The location is the best if your are planning to fly. You have to know that the tariff of the taxi is stable and you have to pay 20 dollars, wherever you go. So ask from the proprietor to come and pick you off from the airport, to pay, after that, a cheaper taxi to the Djibouti City. It is a pity to pay 20 dollars for 800 meters. Generally Djibouti provides a few facilities for the tourists , you can find them hardly and you have to pay a lot. It doesn’t’ worth. The apartment as a great terrace and a great view. Stay there and do not move.
The room was air conditioned and private with my own bathroom. Breakfast was included, which I didn't know until after the first day. The host was helpful when I needed to rent a sim card. The ladies were very helpful getting me breakfast on my last day, since I was in a hurry.
Staff were very nice and helpful. The receptionist, Hibo was a champion. She is charming and very helpful! I really recommend this hotel for any reason.
This is a very good value place to stay, Djibouti is quite expensive and the basic rooms here represent good value for a clean place to stay located in the city center. It's nothing fancy but was clean had working AC and the shared bathroom was clean. There's no hot water in the shower but Djibouti is so hot that you don't really need it, water was fine for showering. Also easy parking outside if you have a car, and they seem to have security watching over the vehicles. I would stay here again on my next visit.
