Everything! Doris is such a great host and she really took care of us like we were family. Me and my girlfriend were stranded with the car so we had a long stressful day but arriving at Doris felt warm and cosy. Everything is super clean, the breakfast is amazing and we felt very much at peace.

This is a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location. We only stayed for one night but were absolutely impressed by this place. The hotel grounds are well-maintained and picturesque, and you can even see domestic goats and sheep nearby. The room was very clean, quiet, and cozy. The hostess is a caring woman. Breakfast and the food at the restaurant were delicious.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel is close to the old town and we coud go for a nice walk in town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food (both dinner and breakfast) was excellent. I would highly reccommend anyone to stay here. I did not notice a lift, so it might be a bit hard for people who are not as mobile, but perfect for us.

This hotel is run by a family who are patently trying to better themselves every day. This was their last day of operation before a few week shutdown, but still we were welcomed early, due to inclement weather, fed, watered and thoroughly looked after. There is not much in the village, but there is enough here in quality restaurant and bar to not need to venture out

Beautiful, spacious accommodation. Friendly hosts and very well equipped. Exceptionally clean and thoughtfully renovated without losing traditional charm. Loved the outside terrace with countryside views. Children loved playing on the trampoline and the marble run at KugelWaldPfad at Ühlingen-Birkendorf was great fun for all.

The house was perfect for us three people and my dog. The house has a very large garden and is well prepared and furnished. washing machine, everything you need for cooking is there. The shower is also great. The host was so kind! I think he lives upstairs but he never disturbs and he leaves the guests in private, which we appreciated. But at the same time we felt very well taken care of :) Thank you for the lovely stay! I really recommend here. It‘s a nice location to visit Rheinfall, Zürich, Freiburg,etc.
