I must say, although we were only able to stay for a small part of breakfast, it was lovely. The room is about what we expected and the location was perfect as that is the only reason we booked a place to stay in Stadt Wehlen.

This is a lovely, peaceful property in the heart of old Pirna. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast included. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by.
Bus and train stations 15 minutes walk away, which make access to Saxony Switzerland and Dresden so easy. Both of them are about 20 minutes by train.
Old Pirna is lovely and Pension Donatus was the perfect choice for sightseeing in the area.
By the way, the car park at the Pension (£10 a night) is so cool. You drive the car into the garage, take all your luggage out, and it disappears to a car park underground 😄

Everything was great! The vicinity of Pension Kleiner König is beautiful and peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Additionally, we enjoyed a great and varied breakfast. The host was friendly, hospitable, and charming. We would definitely recommend this place for a stay.

This is not so much a pension as a self-catering apartment on a considerable scale. Largely open-plan, it has a walled off king-size-bed, a dining area and kitchen/living room along with a generous walk-in shower room. The fridge was supplied with a bottle of fizzy mineral water, a small bottle of fizzy white wine and a bottle of beer, gratis. Everything was clean, quite new and easy to use. The wi-fi was efficient. Walking from Stat Wehlen station involves a very steep, but picturesque climb up 250 steps and stiff slopes to get to the top of the Elbe valley; once up it is a pleasant couple of miles through a small town and rolling countryside.

The location is good, near to Bad Schandau, in a cute village. The inclusive breakfast was good for the price.

The hosts were exceptional, the property was amazing. We had nice big room for us to relax. The jams are must try, I will try to come back again. There were restaurants nearby and do try local food from "Imbiss Zur Habe".
Lastly the location is amazing with slight rain in the evening it made my stay even better. The only thing that I could have changed is the length of my stay, I should added at least 1 more day to in the stay
The hotel stay itself was actually great. My husband and I stayed here with his parents and therefore we stayed four nights in two hotel rooms. Rooms were clean and internet worked. Cheap parking is available near the hotel, and the hotel has elevators, which was important for my father in law. The breakfasts were really good and customer service overall was also good. What happened after our stay is what is unacceptable and I will describe this in the "dislike" portion shortly.
