Second time staying here on an overland trip to see family in northern Germany. We would definitely come back. Lovely people and a great place to stay. Very handy for the motorway if you’re passing through like us but also Bad Bentheim is a pretty little town with a great castle so worth a look!

The Altstadt Hotel is within walking distance of the train station and thus very convenient. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We did not have breakfast but the restaurant was cozy and staff very pleasant and welcoming. The linen was clean and spotless. Overall a wonderful place to stay in Rheine.

We were delayed by traffic which meant we arrived quite late at night. The hosts were very accomodating and greeted us on arrival with the keys.

This is a private house in a quiet area on the outskirts of the city. My room was well equipped for a short stay. There were a living and dining rooms, and a bathroom in a shared area. The breakfast was also tasty and good.
Very comfortable beds check in was up to 21.00 but the host let us in with no extra charge 23.30 very friendly host
