The host family is so welcoming and accommodating! We arrived around 1900 after a very long day of hiking, and they immediately served us beer and water and a home cooked dinner that was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was a delicious spread too: multiple types of breads, meats, cheeses, jams, etc. The room we had was cozy, clean, and warm. Also, it’s about a 500m walk from the bus station in the village, which was convenient for accessing the Malerweg trail

The owner of the pension was very friendly the entire time. He gave us some advice on transportation and places we could also visit. We also got a guest card that we can use to travel on some busses for free. It is a cozy place to stay, in a quiet area. Breakfast was really nice too, and close by there is a supermarket and a Rossman where you could buy some supplies too.

Excellent location along the "Malerweg" in Gohrisch. Upon arrival, we were asked what kind of buns and how many we wanted for breakfast. The breakfast had everything you wanted and more, from eggs to fruit, cheese, quark and cold cuts for your rolls or bread. Just amazing!
