The host was wonderful , the breakfast was really good. The added benefit was that she gave us bicycles to use and it enabled us to bike around the small town. We loved this feature as it made it much better for exploring and finding a place to eat a meal. Wartburg castle was the reason we stayed there and IT is a MUST see.

Staying in a historical villa gave us an insight into the other historical villas in Eisenach. Our host provided us with insights and tips about the area and told us of some of her experiences in the old East Germany. She drove us to a nearby Chinese restaurant. The house is well situated and quiet. We were offered free toiletries and dressing gowns.

Super friendly hosts. Very lovely people. The place is a full flat which I didn't expect. Furniture is traditional and maybe not the most modern but gave us a cosy feel. We felt very welcome and I would book it again of we go back.
Great location, very well navigated georoutes that made for good hikes and it's nice to rent the e-mountainbikes. Room was very cozy with all the wood. We also rented the sauna for 1 night and that was great after a long day of hiking.
