The location was pretty good towards the center of the village, although if you are after the chiemsee, you either have to book a room closer to the see or have to accept a reasonable way to walk. But there are several restaurants on the way to have a drink or something to eat. The room was reasonable sized although a very small bathroom, Nevertheless sufficient. If you wanted to have things to eat/drinks there are facilities to use. I also liked the amble spaces for parking.

From our room, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the sunrise and the (little) snow-capped Alps. While the breakfast menu is modest, it’s perfectly satisfying. Amazing location with a great view over the Alps. It is close to the Chimsee, but far enough away from the city that you have peace and quiet. The rooms were spotless clean and felt very cozy. Overall 10/10 and would recommend to anyone looking to visit Bavaria.
