The property was gorgeous, but the host was definitely the highlight. He prepared us an amazing spread for breakfast then spend time with us looking at the map, recommending places. The town of Riedlingen was also pretty and nice to wander.

The hotel part was basic but extremely clean and comfortable. It was a good deal, and the owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. We were on bicycles, and there was a nice big garage to easily store the bikes in.

The apartment was great. It worked well for the two of us but if one needed to use the loft you have to have good balance and climbing ability. 😊 The instructions were very clear for getting into the flat and everything was explained well about the unit. It was quiet, clean, well situated for walking around town and had all the dishes and cutlery to prepare meals in the kitchen.
