Mostly the family that own and operate the hotel. They are super hospitable and go out of their normal obligations to serve and help you out. Don Francesco and his wife very gracious hosts. Their sons Francesco Jr and Mario super nice and efficient. Great breakfast and Francesco Jr cappuccino not to be missed. My wife and I had two each morning. Mario has the afternoon and evening shift. He even offered to walk us to a nearby restaurant about 10 min walk. I needed a haircut and facilitated the appointment with his neighborhood barber and took me there himself. You don't get that kind of attention anywhere and we have done a lot of traveling. The place is only about 20 min drive to Baden Baden and it's a very pleasant drive. Parking is free in the streets around the hotel and we found spaces the two days and nights we were there.
Located on Baden-Baden’s main pedestrian zone, this guest house enjoys a central location in the spa town. It offers spacious accommodations with free WiFi access.
This accommodations is just 2.5 mi from the center of Baden-Baden. Gästehaus Alexanna offers a balcony and a large terrace with great panoramic views of the Black Forest.

We booked a single night at the last minute. They only had a room w shared bathroom left, which turned out to be not so bad. The location is great for hiking to the falls, where you stumble across a wonderful restaurant in the woods, with drinks and some of the best food we've had on our trip so far! As well as wonderful and helpful people running the restaurant.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Hotel is clean and they clean it every day. The owner was very friendly. Breakfast was good, bread and home-made jam are tasty. The location is on the quiet street but very close to the supermarket and some restaurant.
Very nice room, you can do late check in. Host will leave key and passw code for enter. It was very clean, bright room, open at street. There is wc and toilet in front of room, and kichen too. Pension Anna is in city center. Good connection for airport Airpark.
Super neat pension with elevator! Room was spacious with the comfortable single bed and big fat pillow, and small closet with hangers. Table and chair, large window, light and airy. Spotless bathroom. Close to the charming and tidy town center and nice restaurants. Parking nearby is free between 17 and 9. Keycard for door. Friendly helpful manager.
Host’s hospitality, cleanliness, quiet location, breakfast, cosy room.
I stayed there actually on my way to Baden-Baden with idea to save money, but I was surprised that Rastatt turned out to be more interesting for me than my destination point, and it definitely worth longer stay.
Friendly and responsive host. Good location. Quiet street and close to Baden Baden and black forest. Free parking in the street. Possibility to use the kitchen to cook. Clean and beautiful apartment. Fast internet. I recommend this place.
Quite cheap, very close to the city center, reasonably close to Daimler plant (~12 min walk), so if you are contractor working in automotive industry (like me) this might be good option for you.
Breakfasts are also quite nice.
