The location was pretty good towards the center of the village, although if you are after the chiemsee, you either have to book a room closer to the see or have to accept a reasonable way to walk. But there are several restaurants on the way to have a drink or something to eat. The room was reasonable sized although a very small bathroom, Nevertheless sufficient. If you wanted to have things to eat/drinks there are facilities to use. I also liked the amble spaces for parking.

The location is ideally nestled in nature, with easy access to the city center. The surroundings are tranquil, offering a refreshing sense of calm. From our room, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the sunrise and the (little) snow-capped Alps. While the breakfast menu is modest, it’s perfectly satisfying. We particularly appreciated the locally sourced offerings, especially the delicious homemade yogurt.

Everything went very smoothly. Apartment as described. convenient parking. Very comfortable and big bed (King's size?), plus a fold-out bed that we didn't use (good for small kids, I would not host 4 adults) excellent location. It's not in the village but a 20 min walk. But it's 5-10 mins (other direction) to the Chiemsee, the main attraction of course.
Everything was just perfect, one of the best places I have ever been to.

It was very spacious with all the comforts of home. Very generous hosts responsive and helpful with local information....bike hire, taxi numbers etc - even as we were leaving.
It overlooked the foothills of the Austrian Alps and local farmland. We could easily have spent all our time just drinking in the view.
What a unique, spacious, charming, tasteful and thoughtfully equipped place. Located in the middle of town, close to lots of shops, restaurants, bakeries, cafes, market square. Just a few minutes walk from the train station also. Lovely views. Perfect for a short stay. Great bathroom with a shower and a bath.
Breakfast offered a great selection in a traditional German environment. The room was a good size and had a balcony big enough to sit on and you could see the lake. It had 2 great restaurants and a bar with a great atmosphere. Just out of the town, but great location to get to the ferry to Herren Chiemsee. Parking at the hotel was available and easy which is great after a long journey. The pool and jacuzzi were great facilities to have to relax and unwind.
I felt like I had come home. The hosts are wonderful, kind and accommodating. Everything is spotlessly clean and the bed and linens are excellent. I highly recommend this place.
