This was our second stay in this hotel, really nice and friendly owner recognized us and we were given the same room as 2 years ago. Great location in the middle of the town, close to the restaurants and shops. Breakfast with many options, very tasty. All windows have the outside courtains which allow to completely black-out the light for a good sleep ;)
Shame we're always passing only, the town looks fabulous, next time we'll need to spend few days in Porta Westfalica!

Hotel was nice and clean and I would definitely plan to stay there with my family again.
It is placed in rural settings, so I am sure there is plenty to do and see, but we had no time to explore any further.
Very nice house, comfortable and clean. Small things like coffee machine with coffee pads and the easy-going welcome (we had to give shelgter to two unexpected guests for one night and our host took it with a smile and opened a sleeping couch and gave us more bed sheets) made it a very nice home for a few days.

Very nice and convenient hotel. A perfect stop by while travelling through Germany, beautiful location, just a single mile away from the motorway and yet suddenly a detached, quiet and secluded world; with a bit of imagination a far roar of the motorway can be compared to an ocean or simply ignored. Spacious room, perfectly clean, very comfortable bed, good - although without exaggeration - breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff.
A very nice private hotel in a quiet place; charming and very helpful owner, who speaks fluent English. No problem with late arrivals, possibility of warming some food, good breakfast, parking in front of the establishment.
