A special place within an old train station. The host had done all to welcome the new guests in her recently rehabilitated place. Rooms are designed based on different themes like bicycle, lake, Lobenstein etc. I slept in the 'lake' room in which the room pictured the biggest lake in Thuringen and the bed was shaped as a boat! There is a rich breakfast as well and safe storage for the bike.

A lovely surprise
I wanted to book a hotel near the motorway for myself and my dog for one night as I was doing a long journey.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quaint and quiet little village, the little walks that are around (perfect for stretching legs after a long drive and to let the dog run), the garden around the hotel and the old school charm of the hotel itself, with its delicious restaurant.
The room was small but fully functional and comfortable. The shower was amazing.
The bed was perfect.
The dinner was great,
The staff and other guests were very friendly and accommodating.

Modern, clean apartment with a wonderful view, very spacious with different seat areas and balcony with dining table, excellent shower, well equipped kitchen, great holiday area with ample hiking paths and quaint towns and villages nearby.
Highly recommended and a place we will surely come back to again.
