The room was spacious, the views incredible, walking distance to everywhere. Nice dry heat sauna, pool, and other amenities. Breakfast was amazing! There was an accordion player in the bar and the people were loving it. We heard it from our room, but they stopped promptly at 2200. Go to the church when the band/choir is practicing even if you don't attend. They are amazing and the church is exceptional to look at.

We liked the personnel very much, they were all very friendly and helpful.
The location was in a quaint village that was integrated with the surrounding farming community.
Having come from a farming background in the midwest of America, the ambience was refreshing.
The room was cozy and more than adequate for our stay.
It was a hotel with a long history in the area.

Location is good, staff is ok. The room was for 3-4 or maybe 5 people, so it was big and with 2 bathrooms, which was nice. The view from the rusty balcony is nice, towards that famous skip jump. Some guided tours happened before our eyes, in that area between our balcony and the ski jump.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was convenient. The best part was the friendliness of the host. She did everything possible to make our stay as convenient and comfortable as possible.

The location is pretty good. Walking one hour to Eibsee with amazing view along the way! Also very close to the town center for dinner. The house is around 100 years old. I love it a lot! The host is very friendly and talkative. We enjoyed our stay :)

The host, Ben, was beyond fabulous, the room was perfect and the breakfast was spectacular! We were able to get our laundry done while staying there which was a huge help. There was an honor system for beer, wine and other beverages….perfect!

What an amazing property. The room was first floor, but still had a lovely balcony with mountain views that looked out over the town.
The location is remote; at the very end of town and up a hill. My wife and I don’t mind a walk with our backpacks, and so we hiked up and down from town. If you can’t walk, a car might be a necessity. For us, the walk from the train took less than 20 min.
The balcony was amazing. Large and private with a table and chairs. We dined there each night after cooking our meal in the well equipped kitchenette.
If you are so inclined, they have bathrobes and slippers for your use to head to the sauna or the pool. We did neither of these, but did look into both, and they were wonderfully equipped.
We had the breakfast on our first morning, and it was a well put together meal at a fair price.
The price for this hotel was similar, or even lower than, many of the other places we stayed.
And all this with a smile from the hostess and a warm greeting in the morning.

The studio apartment is very well equipped, it’s small but doesn’t feel cramped, there are plenty of places to store & place personal items. There’s a balcony with view of the mountain and town. We have everything we need to prepare simple breakfasts (boiled eggs, yogurt, fruits, tea and coffee). What we like the most is location, it’s on the edge of the town and close to many trails, we managed very well without a car. Mittenwald and surrounding trails and valleys are so beautiful, we didn’t have enough days to explore, so will definitely come back
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Friendly and welcoming guesthouse. Angelika is a nice host and serve a delicious breakfast!
The room was absolutely amazing with balcony and beautiful view.
Great stay at Pension Bavaria in Mittenwald. The owner of the Pension was truly friendly and always keen to help with information or ideas for hikes. The breakfast was great: fresh fruit and eggs, different kinds of bread included. The room was tidy, comfortable bed and had a balcony with mountain-view. I’d recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a calm and relaxing holiday. Thank you so much!
The place was very comfortable, and very well equipped. It has an excellent location and a good view. It is quiet, very clean and very close to the city center.
It is a charming house with Great location and amazing view from balcony. The owner Mrs. Bellini is super nice, who provided everything we asked, and even offered us early check-in. The guest card is highly recommended, which offers a lot of benefits/discounts in Alpen area.
We love Mittenwald and knew the area where Pension Karner was situated as being nice and quiet. We loved the view of the mountains. David our host was very friendly and helpful and our rooms was clean, comfortable and warm (very cold days when we visited) and was great value. We'd liked to have stayed another night. Breakfast good and well presented.
The hosts met us upon our arrival and they were very friendly giving directions and advice on what to see. We came to Mittenwald to do some hiking and even though this apartment is a bit further out of the city centre, it's quite a short walk to the main attractions as well as a rather quiet neighbourhood. The terrace of the apartment is superb with a view of the mountain. All in all, I'd definitely come back to stay at this place again!
David was a brilliant host with an eye for detail (a honesty pot for glasses of wine/beer to enjoy the evening sun on your balcony with for example). Breakfast was fresh, appetising and filling, set in a quiet breakfast room with no sense of rush. Bedroom was an amazing size and comfortable and the Pension was nestled in a beautiful spot at the base of the mountains. David was on hand to offer local walking and other tourist tips without being overbearing.
