Uwe, the host, is right up there with the best we have experienced in Europe. Waiting kerbside when we arrived to direct us to our off street parking. There was a fridge full of complimentary breakfast & fresh buns outside the door each morning. We enjoyed his deadpan humour & hospitality.
Nice 15 minute walk into the old town centre.

Breakfast was delicious and served in an amazing way, it was a masterpiece:-) The Pension is located close to the railway station, the market place and all the tourist attractions, as well as the bus stop where you can catch the bus to Moritzburg Castle. Our stay at the Pension was a pleasure and the owner was great - really nice and helpful. and at night you can listen to the sound of the river flowing right behind the Pension - awesome experience.

The location is ideal, in 1 min walk from the Porzellan museum and 7 min to the city center and to the railway station. Kitchen is very well equipped - you'll find everything that you may need. The terrace was nice and we spent a couple of great, warm evenings there. The location is quiet, very close to the city centre. I highly recommend this apartment to all who would like to visit Meissen and the region. The cycling paths are awesome and you can ride a bike among beautiful areas.
Our host was helpful when we arrived slightly later than planned. The room was a good size, the beds comfortable and the bathroom nice and clean, like the room. Breakfast was very generous - lots of choice. The Pension is in a quiet position; the location was excellent for us wanting to visit the Porzellanmanufaktur showrooms, and within easy walking distance of the Altstadt and station.
