Very nice host. We arrived late and she left the key for us. Free parking is right in front of the house. The room is spacious and comfortable. Big bathroom as well. The farm produced juice and jam at breakfast are lovely.

My stay at Gasthaus Mühlenstube was unplanned: I was on my way to Spain on my motorbike when it started to rain heavily and quickly realized the impossibility to keep staying on the road. Gasthaus Mühlenstube was the cheapest and closest option to me on Booking, and since I was in urgent need to stop somewhere and rest I booked the last available room immediately.
The venue is located in a very peaceful hilly area surrounded by forest, so quietness is guaranteed. My room had a comfortable bed with winter blankets (gets cold in there because of the location) and extra ones in case of necessity, and a sink: no noises or disturbances were heard during the night, I passed out very quickly and woke up straight the morning after.
I decided to take advantage of the free breakfast included in my booking before leaving, and I didn't regret it: plenty of options available.
All in all, I very much liked the place. I don't think I'll go back in this part of Germany, but if that happens I'll make sure to book my stay at Gasthaus Mühlenstube.

Great location for our planned excursions. Fantastically well equipped in the kitchen for cooking and cleaning and I only noticed cosmetics available in the bathroom on our last day. Great if you have forgotten something essential.

Lovely hotel in a great location to explore the Black Forest. It is easy to find with ample free parking. We were able to park our motorcycles in the garage on the 1st but it was full the second night. The staff are lovely and we were pleased to find that Dragos was still here as we enjoyed sharing stories of our adventures on our previous stay. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet, and well appointed. The food is excellent, good value and there is lots of choice including some regional specialities.
The place was in a stunning location, with exceptional service, and very friendly and charming hosts.
I highly recommend staying at Fehrenbacherhof. It is very family friendly, has a small playground plus a variety of pets and farm animals, all very exciting for kids. The owners really accommodated us, and provided a cot bed, or can provide an extra bed. Our room had a very nice balcony and we enjoyed sitting there. The hotel is right next to fields and woods, excellent for hiking and mountain biking (and road cycling!).
