The location was really beautiful along the river and the atmosphere was very familial with camping just nearby. Breakfast was nice and priceworthy, only lackig some hot alternatives. For mandatory city tax they offered free transportation around the area with regional communication. A lot of playgrounds in the camping, making it perfect for families.

This is not so much a pension as a self-catering apartment on a considerable scale. Largely open-plan, it has a walled off king-size-bed, a dining area and kitchen/living room along with a generous walk-in shower room. The fridge was supplied with a bottle of fizzy mineral water, a small bottle of fizzy white wine and a bottle of beer, gratis. Everything was clean, quite new and easy to use. The wi-fi was efficient. Walking from Stat Wehlen station involves a very steep, but picturesque climb up 250 steps and stiff slopes to get to the top of the Elbe valley; once up it is a pleasant couple of miles through a small town and rolling countryside.
Located directly on the Elbe cycle path, Elbschlösschen Refugium offers accommodation in Pirna, just a 10-minute walk from the historic Old Town.

i’ve been to this hotel several times over past ten years, it stayed the same - great location, warm service, huge portions of homey cooked food.
however, in terms of the comfort it never changed and i just grew out of it so much that i don’t think i will be coming back as a hotel guest again.

The hotel has its own parking lot and restaurant (for our stay it’s open until 19:30). The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They made a customized spaghetti for my child. The building (and our window) is very beautiful with green vines. Very nice flat and well equipped kitchen. Nice view and close to train station. Host was very nice and worked around language by bringing his daughter translating. Right beside the Edeka supermarket.
Wonderful place to stay with family, the kitchen is fully equipped, spacious rooms and the view is so worth it! It was quiet and beautiful. City centre close, the fortress approachable on foot, we had a great walk from the apartment. The terrace is a huge plus. Highly recommend!
Absolutely wonderful room, with lovely hosts and an ideal location. The room was equipped with everything that I needed (fridge, coffee maker, water boiler). The hosts were attentive and warm and gave me great tips on where to explore. The room was perfectly sized for solo travel, and located close to the town center Koenigstein, as well as the train station and ferry. I recommend staying at this cozy and quiet location for those travelling solo or with a partner.
The apartment was really big and comfortable. Fully equiped with literally anything you need. Welcome gummy bears on our pillows were a really nice surprise. The flat was spotless. Evening beer and morning coffee on a terrace was additional bonus to the place. Area peaceful and quiet, free parking in front of the house. It was a real pleasure to come back home after all day trekking. Hosts are really nice too, we were informed not only about the apartmemt, but also about venues and events in the area.
