Really great central location and clear instructions from owner on how to access which was really useful. Great to have cooking facilities as most places I've stayed haven't had them and the outside space was a nice surprise

Although we had some trouble finding the Waldhaus Lahnstein due to the village changing the one way system (car satnav had us going round in circles as it tried to take us the wrong way down one way streets!), once there everything was brilliant. We had a large upstairs room in one of the houses dotted around the grounds - plenty of space, comfortable beds and an en-suite shower room. We had dinner in the restaurant, which seemed to be very popular with the locals (always a good sign). German meals can be large, so we took advantage of the senior portion (!), which was plenty large enough 😊. Breakfast was a wonderful spread with lots of choice.

We really enjoyed this apartment stay. Everything was in pristine condition and beautifully decorated in a country style. The views from the balcony were amazing. The free transport ticket provided made getting out and about really enjoyable. It was a perfect place to stay!

Great location. Tucked away on a quiet street a couple of blocks from the centre of Koblenz. Charming old building, renovated with modern amenities. Easy check-in with a welcoming service representative. Safe and secure bike storage in locked garage a couple of meters from the front door of the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast in separate room (arrive early to get a window seat). Wide selection with more vegetables than cucumbers. Tea and coffee available on a stairwell landing. Nice touch.
It is a small, family-run hotel, charming and in a quiet area, close to the city centre. If you can disregard the noise from some pipes or a pump (I still haven't solved the mystery of the source of the noise) you can easily stay here for a while.
I cannot find any negatives here at all. The house is in a great location, very quiet and within easy reach of great supermarkets. The attention to us (the even offered to pick us up from the Bahnhof when we had car rental issues) was excellent and the host went the extra mile for us when we left some personal items there.
