Beautifully located in the middle of Menzenschwand-Hinterdorf right next to the heart of the Hochschwarzwald. Feldberg and Herzogenhorn are a 2-3h hike away, depending on how many pictures you take.
Also the waterfalls of Menzenschwand-Hinterdorf are just 20min away by foot (they are illuminated in the evenings).
Next time I probably stay for multiple days as it offers great options for hiking.

Conveniently located near the Autobahn, very comfortable and simple rooms with a friendly atmosphere. Check-in was easy, despite the next-door restaurant being closed (the alternative method was also easy). Clean room, spacious bathroom and pleasant balcony. Would definitely stay there again.

The hosts were amazing and friendly. We had the best food at their restaurant. Especially the steaks were exceptionally wonderful. The rooms were redone and functional.
Quiet hotel just off the main street.very nicely renovated.everything was clean and tidy.Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Because you are not in one of the main towns you are provided with a konas card that gives you free travel on the train and bus.
The host was excellent and friendly. The apartment itself was fantastic, it had everything you need including all kitchen utensils. In addition it has a huge balcony and only a 15 minute walk from the train station.

We have stayed at the Black Forest Bike Hostel twice for business trips with a group of three, experiencing both the Kandel and Panorama rooms. The Kandel room offered an excellent quality/price ratio, while the Panorama room provided unparalleled comfort, a stunning view, and the charming sight of a stork nest, making it ideal for work. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the location allowed us to unwind in the beautiful Black Forest.
Location was great, check-in was easy, and everything was satisfactory. It's pretty quiet there at night, which was nice. The host was communicative and provided all needed information.
