Everything was great! The vicinity of Pension Kleiner König is beautiful and peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Additionally, we enjoyed a great and varied breakfast. The host was friendly, hospitable, and charming. We would definitely recommend this place for a stay.

I enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was warm, dry and clean. We were met by a friendly host. He gave us all the necessary information. A pleasant surprise was a tourist card, which gives the right to free travel in local transport, discounts on entertainment services in the city.
The area is incredibly beautiful.
The guesthouse is located across the river opposite Bad Schandau. But it is easy to get to the city center by tram or ferry.

This is not so much a pension as a self-catering apartment on a considerable scale. Largely open-plan, it has a walled off king-size-bed, a dining area and kitchen/living room along with a generous walk-in shower room. The fridge was supplied with a bottle of fizzy mineral water, a small bottle of fizzy white wine and a bottle of beer, gratis. Everything was clean, quite new and easy to use. The wi-fi was efficient. Walking from Stat Wehlen station involves a very steep, but picturesque climb up 250 steps and stiff slopes to get to the top of the Elbe valley; once up it is a pleasant couple of miles through a small town and rolling countryside.

I must say, although we were only able to stay for a small part of breakfast, it was lovely. The room is about what we expected and the location was perfect as that is the only reason we booked a place to stay in Stadt Wehlen.

Apartment in a quiet location a bit outside of Hohnstein, 10 minutes drive to Bastei and a hiking route nearby. Good value for a short stay. It's possible to have breakfast at the location. There's a place outside the building to park the car.
Amazing to stay in a proper castle!! It was/is partly a youth hostel and that’s evident in the decor of the rooms. However, it was very comfortable and quiet. Great views across the valley.

We loved the location, the amazing view and how quiet it was. We stayed for 2 nights and on the first night there was an event for 100+ people for dinner, we couldn’t hear them from our room and it was peaceful. Waking up to such beautiful and quiet surroundings was excellent. The on-site restaurant was lovely as well. We also like how there’s a functioning kitchen and fridge in our room so we could cook too.
Perfectly located apartment, close to many beauty trials in Saxony. It is clean and comfortable. There is everything the family needs for a stay and rest after the day of hiking. It is literarily at the forest edge. We used the prepared wood for having the evenings warm next to the fire stove.
The owners are great hosts and there is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. Very much recommended. One probably can use a car or bike to travel around however it is also possible with local bus transportation system.
