The breakfast spread was ample fresh, and diverse.
We especially appreciated having a variety of fresh seasonal fruits. There were no pastries or sweet cakes--- which was a blessing in disguise! The view from the dining room, overlooking the Rhine River, was memorable.
There were heated pipes we could use to ensure whatever laundry we did, would dry, overnight.
The windows to the room opened, so you could choose to allow fresh air to enter the room.
The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating with any questions we had. Scott spoke fluent English and German.
The hotel issued us a transportation " pass" that allowed us to explore the area ( both the Rhine & Mosel vallies using public transportation ( trains & buses). We were able to go from Boppard to Berg Eltz gratuitously!) However. The hotel staff did not know the extent of travel distance the passes covered. We inquired at the train station in Koblenz & were thrilled to learn the pass covered the area so extensively! The hotel should , perhaps, make an official write-up of the traveling range covered by these " local hotel passes." ( and laminate it to share with their guests)We even got a 30% discount on a boat ride on the Rhine!

The location at the end of the road added to the adventure. Upon arrival I was immediately welcomed by Kim who also showed me where I could park my motorcycle in their garage for the night. My room was spacious an quite comfortable. Patrick in his role as bartender, one of many, found me a good beer before a fine dinner in the in-house restaurant. After a good breakfast I was on my way to new adventures.

The host was super friendly and provided a lovely traditional breakfast. Would certainly stay here again. The room appears to have been updated very recently to an excellent standard and the shower was extremely powerful. Good view of the rhein and the passing boat traffic.

Really cool place. Old timey but with a bit of a modernes to it. Close enough to see the Rhine from the room. Old school skeleton key for the room. That was pretty awesome.
The family-run Landhaus Traube is located directly on the banks of the River Moselle in Niederfell, a 20-minute drive from Koblenz. It has a pretty vine-covered terrace with castle views.

The place was immaculate with flowers, covered patio area, great mattresses. We arrived very early on bikes and the hosts kept our luggage and bikes for us, directed us on where to have lunch and provided maps and advice on a great local hike. The breakfast was very good German style with eggs cooked to order

Our second time which we loved as much as the first. Nadine and Matthias are excellent hosts. The restaurant next door serves excellent home cooked, local food. The wine comes from their own vineyard. We’ll definitely be returning.

Owner Esther was really nice and helpful. Perfect overnight stop in Hirzenach on Welterbesteig trail stages 5 and 6, between Oberwesel and Boppard
Property was exactly as described and was spotlessly clean and tidy. The hosts were amazing and really helpful, leaving bread rolls outside of your door for breakfast! They also have a restaurant next door which serves gorgeous food local to the area as well as some rather excellent Riesling wines!! I will definitely be back to stay again at Rheingold!
Nice location in small village next to River Rhine. Friendly host. Nicely laid out room (twin room-no river view, but quieter). Shared kitchen area. Breakfast available. Next to railway station. Walking & cycling routes available along the valley from the village, also ferries from next stop on railway at St Goar. Restaurant nearby.
