This was a stop over from our road trip from Croatia to Frankfurt. It was only a short drive off the A3, so perfect for us, as we'd been on the road for at least 6 hours by then. This is a nice traditional German pension. There was a shared bathroom for about 3 rooms, but this was clean and well equipped, and even had dental kits, which I thought was a nice touch. It's also a restaurant, so there was a good selection of traditional German food on offer, which was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was waiting for us when we came down, each room had a table prepared for them with their own platter of breakfast meats, cheeses, jams and breads. Next to the hotel was a church, and we were lucky enough to see Peregrine flacon chicks fledge the nest! It's small village, but there was a little supermarket two minutes from the hotel for us to pick up supplies for our onward journey. A would recommend this hotel to others!

It is a modern and functional studio. I liked the bathroom, the table and the comfy chairs, and the minibar options. The bed is also big and comfortable. The lighting is also modern and bright. Coffee was welcome in the morning.

It is really spacious, in a very quiet and beautiful zone. I was afraid that we would need air conditioning (there were 36 degrees outside) but the house was really cool.
You need a car (or electric bikes) to get to Hengersberg.

Lovely property, in an idyllic location, all hills and forests; very quiet, you could hear the birds nesting in the trees nearby; the host was very hospitable and the apartment exceptional - lots of space, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, thick walls that made for a restful sleep, lots of light, a patio where we could enjoy nature. We'd love to go back for a longer stay! Thank you :)
