Location was perfect. The Host was polite and friendly and very welcoming. The room was a little tired in decor, but clean.
The surpise breakfast, when you think you only have cold frikadella's and chicken legs, out comes the cold meat and cheeses, fruit and everything else, don't be put off. More than you can eat. Excellent.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Old school hotel, very friendly and helpful owner. Lovely big room (more like a private apartment really), furnishings were quirky and had a certain 1970s charm (I mean that - they are charming and brought back memories of grandmotherly properties of my childhood - but would not suit someone looking for cutting-edge modern design). Breakfast was great - again quaint and old fashioned. They don't make hotels like this any more!
Pension Dabrunz offered very cosy and clean rooms to stay and with great views. The property has an amazing location, which was very close to many hiking start points. The cost was pretty decent and the breakfast served was also quite sumptuous. The host was also very kind.
Great location and options to park around the hotel and you can visit nearby the historic castle and many options for restaurants and trails around the Eifel.
The owner does mayn things mostly alone and able to give the hotel an boutique experience rather than the traditional modern hotels, like owner puts both normal shower and for people with chemical sensitivity, keeps parabin free shower gel. Every room has a different experience and has different paintings and the hotel has a piano, if you are a musician.
The room was very clean and tidy. Mega comfortable bed. Nice and quiet. Nice terrace. Delicious breakfast, everything fresh, the most delicious rolls and eggs. Parking available in front of the guest house. Lady hostess friendly and discreet.
Wonderful studio at a great location. We did some hikes in the area close to the accommodation. The host is super friendly and gave good recommendations. It's a clean studio with a nice balcony, we really recommend it!
