I was consider the breakfast as light, but better than the your bread, jam, and toast. Our small balcony had a view of the mountains and we were able to check in quite early to go explore the area. We love visiting the area and there is no reason to pay high room prices when you are not going to spend much time in your room

I have been to many different hotels, but this guest house was just perfect. This was probably the best place of all. Very heartwarming atmosphere, the hosts were incredibly friendly and caring. The view of the mountain from the room was amazing. We will definitely come back here again. I would also highly recommend trying the breakfasts, they are very good.
The view outside our room was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast was so delicious and fresh. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and wanted to help us learn German. It was such a perfect place and at a very reasonable price. I can’t say enough good things about our stay! We will recommend this guest house to anyone wanting a quaint, relaxing stay in the Bavarian region.
Loved my stay here. Great location, Grainau is picturesque. You can see Zugspitze from the front door. And the beautiful Lake Eibsee is close by. Train station a little up the road. Host was great, spoke better English than I did German!
