It's a lovely old building in a quiet village about 10 minutes drive from the busier Eschwege. The owner was very helpful and friendly and spoke English, guests are left to do their own thing, tea and coffee, etc was free and available in a communal kitchen. Beer available in the fridge at normal prices, just pay for what you take. Outdoor area great for relaxing

What a fantastic hotel. We stayed over on a motorbike tour. The hosts couldn't be more helpful. Arranged to garage our bikes overnight. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Hotel and room were wonderful and clean. Very relaxing to sit on balcony with a drink overlooking the hills. You must also eat in the hotel restaurant. The food is fantastic.
The flat is in a great location and is well appointed. It was very quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. Getting the keys was easy and trouble free.

New hotel that just opened in Fall 2021, the room was very clean with a beautiful view of the river and very quiet for a relaxing nights sleep, the equipment was high standard with beautiful furniture. I also enjoyed the very delicious breakfast.
