Building itself is beautiful, good breakfast, spacious room, newly refurbished, nice sanitary facilities.
Outstanding was the newly opened restaurant Al Moudyaf, including the terrace outside.

Location, the host....acctually everything was a real surprise for us. Before getting there we were a bit suspisious, but after getting there, really perfect. Even for travelling for business it was super, because we had a peace for work and everything arround was green...very relaxing.
The host was very responsive. Walking distance to town, bakery and grocery store was short and pleasant. Very quiet and warm. Safe underground parking as well as convenient street parking. Kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware.
Restaurant was very cosy, served a great dinner and very kind and attentive waiting staff. The spa facilities were clean and quiet enough to make it a perfect getaway.
Mélanie is a very good host: welcoming, helpful and very informative. The building (an old water mill) and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. The room is large with exposed old beams. Breakfast in the annex (same age) was personal and well arranged. A great place to be when in Düsseldorf or thereabout, and to return to!

On travel through Germany this is perfect stop, specially if you need a gym, good restaurant and quiet sleep, for fans of golf there are 2 special golf courses 10mn away. The Neanderthal is also close by and worth a visit.
