The host was wonderful , the breakfast was really good. The added benefit was that she gave us bicycles to use and it enabled us to bike around the small town. We loved this feature as it made it much better for exploring and finding a place to eat a meal. Wartburg castle was the reason we stayed there and IT is a MUST see.

Our host provided us with insights and tips about the area and told us of some of her experiences in the old East Germany. She drove us to a nearby Chinese restaurant. The house is well situated and quiet. We were offered free toiletries and dressing gowns.

Friendly staff in a pension setup little bit outside the city centre. Parking not on site (as mentioned on booking) but very possible in the surrounding area. Good point to go walking to local monument or Wartburg.
Great location in the green area and beautiful views , close to the Wartburg castle & city centre ; we loved the way up to the hotel , even in the dark the path was well lit !

The place is very lovely, clean and well-kept, it has everything you need if you are planning for a longer stay and it was perfect to accommodate a group of 4. The area is quiet and the host was really nice and fulfilled all of our requests.
