Extremely spacious, characterful old building, huge kitchen to use, secure parking away from the road, very quiet and no traffic noise. Entrance up a long drive through a big arched gate, into a cobbled farmyard for parking, close to the room. All very private. all on a working Eco farm.

After a long drive staying at this pension in rural Germany is well worth the short detour from the motorway. The location is quiet and exactly what is required for a good night's sleep. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast next morning ( 10 euro per person) excellent. It set us up for another long day on the road. We were there in November and not in tourist mode but I expect at other times of year this would be a good base to explore the region.

We arrived after a very delayed journey from the UK which took us an extra 6hrs, but despite this they were extremely kind and waited for us to show up. We will always be grateful to the best hosts we've ever met (and we've stayed in lots of places all over the world).
The room was warm, welcoming and the bed extremely comfy. We arrived in the dark so couldn't appreciate the view until the next day and what an amazing sight! All scenic forest. Such a peaceful place. We wish we could have stayed for a few days, however we needed to reach Poland for Christmas.

The house isn't at the old city center but it has really advantages: more space, more comfortable than old houses from inside the city ring, parking at the property etc.
The charming character of the house and the thoughtful finishing touches by the host! It was extremely cozy and comfortable. We loved our stay; Brigitte was a lovely host who greeted us upon arrival and ensured we were settled when we arrived. The back bedroom had a beautiful view with ample sunlight. We had fantastic weather when we visited Duderstadt, and the little outdoor sitting area was great for chilling and reading in the afternoons.
